Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta of choice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the creamy mushroom sauce until well coated.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
