A delicious and fluffy vegan twist on a classic Boston bun, filled with creamy vegan Nutella. Preparation Time: 2 hours (including rising time)
Serving Size: 12 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour - 100 g sugar
- 2 dl oat milk
- 1 dl canola oil
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g vegan Nutella
- 1 dl sugar (for topping)
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm oat milk and add sugar. Let it sit for about 10 minutes. 2. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, salt, and vanilla sugar.
3. Add the yeast mixture and canola oil to the flour mixture. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until elastic.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
5. Roll out the dough into a flat sheet and spread vegan Nutella evenly on top.
6. Roll the dough tightly and cut it into pieces.
7. Place the rolls in a greased baking pan and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
8. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
9. Allow to cool and sprinkle with sugar and powdered sugar before serving.
