A delicious vanilla porridge served with sweet cranberry sauce. Perfect for dessert or a light snack!

Ingredients

- 2 dl water
- 2 dl pudding rice
- 8 dl milk
- 2.5 dl whipped vanilla cream
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp sugar
Cranberry Sauce:
- 1 l water
- 1 dl cranberries
- 1 dl sugar
- 2.5 tbsp potato starch
- 3 dl cranberries

Instructions

1. Boil the rice in a pot with water.
2. Add the milk and simmer the porridge, stirring occasionally for about 50 minutes, until the rice is cooked.
3. Mix the cooled porridge with the whipped vanilla cream, vanilla sugar, and sugar.
4. To prepare the cranberry sauce: Boil water in a pot and add 1 dl of cranberries and sugar. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
5. Dissolve the potato starch in a small amount of cold water and add the mixture to the boiling cranberry mixture. Stir well and let it cook until the sauce thickens.
6. Add the remaining cranberries to the sauce and mix.
7. Serve the vanilla porridge with cranberry sauce on top.
