Ingredients

- 1½ liters of peeled, chopped potatoes
- Approximately 1 kg of pork or beef
- Allspice
- Salt
- Water

Instructions

1. Soak the meat overnight in a strong brine solution.
2. The next day, roast the meat in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 1.5-2 hours until cooked through, turning occasionally to ensure even browning and prevent drying.
3. Boil the potato chunks in a large pot of water until they are nearly tender.
4. Add the meat drippings to the pot along with the allspice.
5. Cut the meat into 1 cm thick pieces and add them to the pot with the potatoes. Let it simmer for another 20 minutes until the potatoes are fully cooked and the flavors are combined.
