Ingredients:
- Olive oil (optional)
- 500 g yeast bread or pizza dough
- Fresh basil
- Fresh marjoram
- 1 whole garlic bulb (or to taste)
- Cayenne pepper to taste
- Oregano
- 200 g strong cheese (e.g., cheddar or parmesan)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Prepare the dough and roll it out into a rectangle about 1 cm thick.
3. Blend all fresh herbs together using an immersion blender.
4. Finely chop the garlic and mix it with cayenne pepper and cheese.
5. Drizzle olive oil over the rolled-out dough.
6. Evenly sprinkle the herb mixture over the dough.
7. Spread the cheese and garlic mixture over the herbs.
8. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice it into 2-3 cm thick pieces.
9. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for about 15-20 minutes.
