Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or spaghetti)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the pasta water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add crushed garlic and sauté for about a minute until golden.
3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until slightly wilted.
4. Pour the cream into the spinach and mix well. Allow the mixture to simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. If needed, add a little reserved pasta water to keep the pasta moist.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
