This delicious cake base is easily made with fruit sugar and is perfect for various fillings. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 pieces
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs - 1 ½ dl fruit sugar
- 75 g butter (melted)
- 2½ dl all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and fruit sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Melt the butter and add it to the egg mixture. Mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Gradually add this mixture to the egg mixture, stirring until the batter is smooth.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cake is cooked through and golden brown. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
