Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the sugar until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
6. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gently fold them into the chocolate mixture until fully combined.
7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
8. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is set but still slightly soft in the center.
9. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with vanilla ice cream.
