Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
2. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate and mix well.
3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
4. Sift the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt into the batter. Gently mix until combined.
5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate frosting.
