A delicious and easy-to-make filling that pairs perfectly with porridge. This jam is made effortlessly by baking the apples.Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: Approximately 4 dl
Ingredients:
- 1 kg apples- 200 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 dl water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the apples.2. Place the apple pieces in a baking dish.
3. In a bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, water, and lemon juice.
4. Pour the mixture over the apple pieces.
5. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes.
6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the apples are soft and the jam has a beautiful color.
7. Let it cool before serving.
