A delicious oven-baked pea soup that's easy to prepare and requires minimal effort. Let the oven do the work while you enjoy your other activities!
Preparation Time: 4 hours (including soaking)
Serving Size: 6-8 servings

Ingredients:

- 500 g Myssyfarmin Organic Hulda peas
- 2 l water
- 300 g smoked ham cubes
- 1 large onion
- 1-2 carrots
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 dl mustard
- Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Soak the peas overnight in cold water.
2. The next day, drain the peas and place them in a Dutch oven.
3. Add 2 liters of water and bring to a boil on the stove. Skim off any foam that forms on top.
4. Add the smoked ham cubes, peeled and chopped onion, and peeled and diced carrots to the pot.
5. Stir in the bay leaves, salt, mustard, and black pepper.
6. Cover the pot and simmer for about 30 minutes.
7. Transfer the pot to the oven and let it stew covered at 150°C (300°F) for about 3 hours, stirring a couple of times during cooking.
