Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
2. Allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly, then add the sugar. Mix well.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, stirring until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes. The cake is done when the surface is firm but slightly soft in the center.
7. Let it cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with vanilla ice cream.
