A delicious and moist cake inspired by the history of Urajärvi Manor. Perfect for summer outings or coffee gatherings. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 10-12 pieces
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter - 2 dl sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- 1 dl berries (e.g., blueberries or raspberries)
- Powdered sugar for decoration
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). 2. Grease and flour a cake pan.
3. In a bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Combine the flour and baking powder, then add to the batter alternately with the milk.
6. Gently fold in the berries.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
8. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
9. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
