Hungarian Sausage Soup

A hearty and flavorful soup featuring Hungarian sausage, vegetables, and a rich tomato base. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g Hungarian sausage - 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 carrots
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 1 l chicken broth
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. 2. Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté the onion and garlic until they are soft.
3. Add the chopped bell pepper and carrots, and continue to sauté for a few minutes.
4. Slice the sausage and add it to the pot. Cook until the sausage is slightly browned.
5. Add the crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and paprika powder. Stir well.
6. Let the soup simmer on low heat for about 20-30 minutes.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve hot and garnish with fresh parsley.
