A delicious and innovative take on the traditional Laskiaispulla, this cake combines sweet flavors and a soft texture, making it a perfect treat for winter celebrations. Preparation Time: 1.5 hours
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g sweet dough - 2 dl cream
- 100 g chocolate
- 1 dl Nutella
- 2 bananas
- 1 dl caramel sauce
- 1 dl almond flakes (for decoration)
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the sweet dough and allow it to rise according to the recipe instructions. 2. Once the dough has risen, roll it out flat and cut into desired shapes (e.g. hearts or circles).
3. Bake the dough pieces at 200°C (392°F) for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool.
4. Prepare the chocolate whipped cream by whipping the cream and melting the chocolate. Gently combine them.
5. Chop the bananas and mix them with the caramel sauce.
6. Assemble the cake: place one dough piece as the base, spread Nutella on top, add chocolate whipped cream, and banana-caramel filling. Top with another dough piece.
7. Continue layering until all ingredients are used.
8. Decorate the cake with almond flakes and powdered sugar.
9. Allow the cake to set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
