Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together. Stir until smooth.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the sugar. Mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition until fully incorporated.
5. Sift in the all-purpose flour, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gently fold the mixture until combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes. The cake is ready when a thin crust forms on top, but the center remains slightly moist.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Enjoy it plain or with whipped cream.
