A delicious chocolate cake with a refreshing mango filling, perfect for celebrations. Decorated with colored fondant and beautiful flowers. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 10-12 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 ml milk
Mango Filling:
- 300 g mango puree
- 200 g mascarpone cheese
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Topping:
- Colored fondant
- Renshaw flower paste for decoration
- Golden lace dust
Instructions:
1. Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder) and add to the batter alternately with the milk.
4. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool.
5. Prepare the mango filling by mixing together the mango puree, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar.
6. Cut the cooled cake into two layers and fill with the mango filling. Place the top layer on.
7. Cover the cake with colored fondant and decorate with Renshaw flower paste and golden lace dust.
