Hearty Sandwich Cake (Tuhti Voileipäkakku)

A delicious and filling option for celebrations. This cake is easy to make and will surely please everyone. Preparation Time: 1 hour + 2 hours chilling
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients
- 400 g shredded cheese - 1 can of canned mushrooms
- 3 packs of sandwich bread (light and dark)
- 1 large onion
- 1 can of tuna in water
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cucumber
- 1 pack of shrimp
- 1 pack of ham strips
- 1 liter of beef broth
- 1 bell pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the mayonnaise according to the instructions. 2. Finely chop the bell pepper and large onion.
3. Drain the tuna and mushrooms.
4. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
5. Soak the sandwich bread in beef broth and layer it at the bottom of a dish.
6. Spread a layer of shredded cheese, tuna, and chopped onion on top.
7. Add another layer of sandwich bread and repeat the filling (shredded cheese, shrimp, ham strips).
8. Continue layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of bread on top.
9. Spread mayonnaise over the top and garnish with cucumber slices and bell pepper bits.
10. Let the cake chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
