A rich and moist chocolate cake perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100 g nuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave.
3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until fluffy.
4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg-sugar mixture and mix well.
5. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the batter and gently fold to combine.
6. If using, add the nuts and stir to combine.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream if desired!
