Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the cream into the spinach and mix well. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes.
5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved cooking water.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
