A delicious mushroom pasta that is quick and easy to prepare. Perfect for a weeknight dinner, it will delight the whole family.
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Serving size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain the pasta and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated.
5. Pour the cream into the pan and stir. Allow to simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the drained pasta to the pan and mix well. If needed, add a bit of the reserved cooking water to prevent the pasta from drying out.
7. Grate the Parmesan cheese into the pasta and mix. Season with salt and black pepper.
8. Serve the pasta on plates and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
