Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine) - 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
