Tiramisu

A classic Italian dessert that brightens up the end of a long dinner with layers of coffee, mascarpone cheese, and chocolate. Preparation Time: 30 minutes + 4 hours cooling
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g mascarpone cheese - 200 ml strong coffee (cooled)
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- Cocoa powder (for dusting)
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Brew strong coffee and let it cool.2. In a bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add mascarpone cheese to the egg yolk mixture and mix until smooth.
4. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
6. Quickly dip ladyfinger cookies into the cooled coffee and layer them in a serving dish.
7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the cookies. Repeat the layers with the remaining cookies and mascarpone mixture.
8. Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
9. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings.
