This classic Italian dessert is full of flavor and has a wonderfully creamy texture. Tiramisu is the perfect treat for coffee lovers.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes + chilling
Serving Size: 6-8 servings

Ingredients:

- 3 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 200 ml strong coffee (cooled)
- 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
- 200 g ladyfinger cookies
- Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions:

1. Separate the egg yolks and whites. Whisk the yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add the mascarpone cheese to the yolk mixture and gently mix until combined.
3. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form and carefully fold them into the mascarpone mixture.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
5. Quickly dip the ladyfinger cookies into the coffee mixture and layer them in a serving dish.
6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of cookies.
7. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone mixture on top.
8. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
9. Before serving, dust cocoa powder over the top for garnish.
