Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together until smooth.
3. Stir the sugar into the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla sugar. Gradually add this dry mixture to the chocolate mixture, stirring until fully integrated.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until the surface is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate frosting for decoration.
