Ingredients:
- 200 g spaghetti
- 100 g bacon or pancetta
- 2 eggs
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a pan over medium heat until crispy. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper.
4. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it, reserving a bit of the pasta water. Add the spaghetti to the pan with the bacon and garlic.
5. Remove the pan from heat and quickly mix in the egg mixture with the spaghetti. Add reserved pasta water as needed to create a creamy sauce.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
