A delicious and satisfying grain-free hamburger perfect for a low-carb meal. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 dl finely chopped onion
- 1 dl finely chopped bell pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 4 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Mayonnaise or other favorite sauces
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, bell pepper, egg, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
2. Shape the mixture into four patties.
3. Grill or pan-fry the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
4. Place a slice of cheese on each patty and let it melt for a minute.
5. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on a lettuce leaf, adding tomato slices and avocado, and finishing with your preferred sauce.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
