A classic French pastry that combines sweet apples and buttery pastry into a delicious dessert.

Ingredients:
- 5-6 apples (e.g., Granny Smith)
- 100 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 ready-made puff pastry sheet
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the apples. Squeeze lemon juice over them to prevent browning.
2. Melt the butter and sugar in a frying pan over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
3. Add the apples to the frying pan and cook until they soften and take on a nice color.
4. Remove the pan from heat and arrange the apples upright on top of the butter-sugar mixture.
5. Lay the puff pastry sheet over the apples and press down the edges.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown.
7. Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool slightly. Then, invert it onto a serving plate.
