Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into long strips about 1 cm thick.
2. Rinse the potato strips in cold water and dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
3. Place the potatoes in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
4. Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (428°F) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the fries are golden brown and crispy. Turn the fries halfway through the cooking time for even cooking.
6. Remove the fries from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
