A refreshing and flavorful cabbage and carrot salad that is a perfect side dish for various meals. Easy to prepare, it's great for both everyday and special occasions.

Serving Size: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 1 large white cabbage (about 1 kg)
- 300 g carrots
- 6-8 large garlic cloves
- Pickling liquid:
- 2 dl water
- 1 dl vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
Instructions:
1. Shred the cabbage into thin strips and place it in a large bowl.
2. Grate the carrots coarsely and add them to the cabbage.
3. Peel and mince the garlic cloves, then add them to the salad.
4. In a saucepan, combine the ingredients for the pickling liquid and heat until the sugar and salt dissolve. Allow it to cool.
5. Pour the cooled pickling liquid over the cabbage mixture and mix well.
6. Let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours before serving to enhance the flavors.
