Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 12 oz (340g) spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.
5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
