Delicious and sweet date bites, perfect for a Sunday treat. These bites are irresistibly tasty and easy to prepare!

Serving Size: 12 pieces

Ingredients:

- 200 g dates
- 100 g nuts (e.g. walnuts or almonds)
- 50 g rolled oats
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Dark chocolate (optional)

Instructions:

1. Soak the dates in hot water for about 10 minutes to soften them.
2. Drain the dates and place them in a blender along with the nuts, rolled oats, honey, vanilla extract, and salt.
3. Blend the ingredients until you have a smooth mixture.
4. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, about 1 cm thick.
5. If desired, melt the chocolate and drizzle it over the layer.
6. Allow it to cool in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes until it firms up.
7. Cut the cooled mixture into bite-sized pieces and serve.
