Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or penne) - 200 g fresh portobello mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- 100 ml cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.2. Chop the onion and garlic. Slice the portobello mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft.
4. Add the garlic and portobello mushrooms to the pan. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are golden brown.
5. Pour in the vegetable broth and cream into the mushroom mixture. Stir well and let simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix thoroughly to coat the pasta with the sauce.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
