Ingredients:

- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat until fully melted and smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
3. Add the melted chocolate-butter mixture to the egg-sugar mixture and mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt, then gradually add to the batter. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through. Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, decorate with powdered sugar or chocolate frosting.
