Ingredients
- 2 medium beets
- 50 g bacon
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 parsnip
- 1 red onion
- 2 potatoes
- 1 small rutabaga
- 2 carrots
- 2 garlic cloves
- Fresh sage
- 1 tsp honey
- Sour cream or Greek yogurt for serving
Instructions
1. Slice the bacon and cook it in a pan until golden brown.
2. Peel and slice the red onion and garlic, then add them to the pan with the bacon. Sauté for a moment.
3. Add the ground beef to the pan and brown it.
4. Peel and chop the beets, parsnip, rutabaga, potatoes, and carrots. Add the chopped vegetables to the pan.
5. Season with honey, salt, and pepper.
6. Add fresh sage and mix well.
7. Allow to cook on low heat for about 20-30 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
8. Serve warm with sour cream or Greek yogurt.
