A comforting and hearty dish that combines delicious ingredients with warm pasta, perfect for special autumn evenings. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli) - 200 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button or chanterelles)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve some pasta water. 2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft.
3. Add the crushed garlic and mushrooms to the pan. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and the moisture has evaporated.
4. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir well. Allow to simmer over low heat for a few minutes.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix. If needed, add a little reserved pasta water to keep the pasta moist.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
