Ingredients:
- 4 large apples
- 50 g butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 dl nuts (e.g., walnuts or almonds)
- Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Wash and peel the apples, then make deep cuts into them without slicing all the way through.
3. Melt the butter and mix it with sugar and cinnamon.
4. Brush the mixture over the apples, making sure to get it between the cuts.
5. Chop the nuts and sprinkle them over the apples.
6. Place the apples in a baking dish and bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, until the apples are soft and golden brown.
7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
