Description: This recipe combines four delicious sweets: halva, meringues, almond-pistachio squares, and gulab jamun balls. Perfect for celebrations or as a delightful dessert!
Preparation Time: 3 hours
Serving Size: Approximately 30-40 small sweets

Halva

- 50 g butter
- 2 dl semolina
- 2 dl water
- 2 dl milk
- 2 dl sugar
- ½ tbsp vanilla sugar
- (unsweetened cocoa powder + a splash of milk)
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter and add the semolina, stirring until it changes color.
2. In a saucepan, heat the water, milk, sugar, and vanilla sugar.
3. Pour the mixture over the semolina while stirring continuously.
4. Let it rest covered for about 10 minutes.
5. If desired, color part of the halva with cocoa powder.
6. Pour the mixture into a dish to cool and refrigerate.
7. Cut the cooled halva into pieces.

Meringues

- 6 egg whites
- 3 dl sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- about 100 g dark chocolate, grated
Instructions:
1. Whip the egg whites until fluffy and gradually add 2 dl of sugar.
2. Mix the remaining sugar, vanilla sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon.
3. Gently fold the mixture into the egg whites through a sieve.
4. Fold in the grated chocolate.
5. Spoon about 20 small meringues onto parchment paper.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C, reduce temperature to 125°C, and bake for about 1.5 hours.

Almond-Pistachio Squares

- 50 g butter
- 150 g almond meal
- 150 g sugar
- 1 dl cream
- 10 almonds
- 10 pistachios
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter and add almond meal, sugar, and cream.
2. Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes.
3. Spread the mixture into a dish lined with parchment paper.
4. Chop the almonds and pistachios and sprinkle them over the mixture.
5. Cool and refrigerate to set.
6. Cut into squares.

Gulab Jamun

For the Balls:
- 150 g milk powder
- 75 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp semolina
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- about 1 dl milk
- oil for deep frying
For the Syrup:
- 2.5 dl water
- 300 g sugar
- 2 tbsp rose water
Instructions:
1. Prepare the syrup: In a saucepan, combine water and sugar, heating gently until the sugar dissolves.
2. Add rose water and remove from heat.
3. In a bowl, mix milk powder, flour, baking powder, semolina, and oil.
4. Add enough milk to form a soft dough and shape into balls.
5. Heat oil and fry the balls until golden brown.
6. Remove the balls from the oil and place them in the syrup.
