A creamy chanterelle mushroom sauce perfect for serving over boiled potatoes or meat. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g chanterelle mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 dl cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and finely chop the onion.
2. Heat the butter in a pan and add the onion. Sauté until the onion is soft.
3. Add the chanterelle mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are tender and the liquid has evaporated.
4. Pour the cream into the pan and stir well. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for about 5-10 minutes.
5. Season with salt and black pepper. Add chopped parsley if desired.
6. Serve the sauce over boiled potatoes or meat patties. Enjoy!
