This delicious and silky Crème Brûlée dessert gets a refreshing flavor from lemongrass. It's easy to make and the final result is heavenly!
Preparation Time: 1 hour + chilling time
Serving Size: 4 servings

Ingredients:

- 2 dl cream
- 1 dl milk
- 100 g sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1-2 stalks of lemongrass
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 4 tbsp sugar (for topping)

Instructions:

1. Heat the cream and milk in a saucepan. Add the lemongrass stalks and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
2. Strain the mixture to remove the lemongrass pieces. Stir in the sugar and vanilla sugar until dissolved.
3. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks. Gradually add a small amount of the warm mixture to the yolks while continuously stirring to prevent the yolks from cooking.
4. Pour the egg yolk mixture back into the saucepan and heat gently until it thickens. Do not let it boil!
5. Pour the mixture into four ovenproof dishes.
6. Bake at 150°C (300°F) for about 30-40 minutes, until set.
7. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
8. Before serving, sprinkle sugar on top and use a kitchen torch or broiler to caramelize the sugar.
