Delicious and crispy French fries, a perfect side dish for any meal. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 800 g potatoes
- 1 liter canola oil (for frying)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into long strips.
2. Rinse the potato strips in cold water and dry them thoroughly.
3. Heat the canola oil in a large pot or deep fryer.
4. Fry the potatoes in small batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
5. Remove the fried potatoes and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
7. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
