Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 100 g fresh spinach
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain the pasta and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden brown.
3. Pour in the cream and let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese has melted into the sauce.
5. Add the fresh spinach to the sauce and stir until the spinach wilts slightly.
6. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved cooking water to reach desired consistency.
7. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and mix well.
8. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil. Enjoy!
