Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together over low heat.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy.
4. Stir the melted chocolate-butter mixture into the egg mixture and combine well.
5. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Add this dry mixture to the batter and mix until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or frosting for decoration.
