Chocolate Zucchini Cake with Alcoholic Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients:
- 2 dl grated zucchini
- 2 dl sugar
- 1 dl oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 0.5 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 100 g dark chocolate
Chocolate Sauce:
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 1 dl cream
- 2 tbsp alcohol (e.g., cognac or rum)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Grate the zucchini finely and squeeze out any excess moisture.
3. In a bowl, mix together sugar, oil, and eggs. Whisk until fluffy.
4. Add the grated zucchini and mix well.
5. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until smooth.
7. Melt the dark chocolate and fold it into the batter.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes or until the cake is cooked through.
9. For the chocolate sauce, melt the dark chocolate and add cream and alcohol. Stir until the sauce is smooth.
10. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Pour the chocolate sauce over the cake before serving.
