Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together over low heat. Stir until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and stir well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is cooked but slightly gooey in the center.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. It pairs wonderfully with whipped cream or ice cream.
