A delicious sweet snack, these chocolate oatmeal cookies are quick to make and sure to become a favorite!
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: Makes about 10 cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- Approximately 40 g dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 dl rolled oats
- 50 g margarine
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 dl sugar
Instructions:
1. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and melt the margarine.
2. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, rolled oats, baking powder, and sugar).
3. Add the melted margarine and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
4. Finally, fold the chopped chocolate into the dough and mix well.
5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie as they will spread while baking.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 7-9 minutes, or until the cookies are a beautiful golden brown.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
