- 1 avocado - 4 slices whole-grain bread
- 200 g hummus
- 1 cucumber
- 2 tomatoes
- 100 g fresh salad greens
- 1 red onion
- 100 g nuts (e.g., walnuts or almonds)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g., basil or parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Toast the whole-grain bread slices until golden brown. 2. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and mash the flesh with a fork. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
3. Slice the cucumber and tomatoes. Chop the red onion.
4. Place the toasted bread on a serving platter. Spread hummus on each slice.
5. Top with the mashed avocado.
