Serving Size: 8 pieces
Ingredients:
- 2.5 dl milk- 25 g fresh yeast
- 0.5 dl sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1 egg
- 7 dl all-purpose flour
- 100 g melted butter
- 200 g almond paste
- 1 dl whipped cream
- 1 egg (for glaze)
Instructions:
1. Warm the milk to a lukewarm temperature and dissolve the yeast in it.2. Add sugar, salt, cardamom, and one egg. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the flour and melted butter. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Let the dough rise under a cloth in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle and spread the almond paste evenly on top.
6. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice it into pieces.
7. Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
8. Brush the pastries with the egg and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
9. Serve warm with whipped cream.
