Ingredients:

- 400 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 150 g bacon or pancetta
- 3 eggs
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, chop the bacon or pancetta into small cubes. Heat in a pan over medium heat and cook until crispy.
3. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for another minute until golden brown.
4. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and reserve a bit of the cooking water. Add the pasta to the pan with the bacon and garlic.
6. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the egg mixture with the pasta. Add reserved cooking water as needed to make it creamy.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
