Ingredients:
- 4 birds (such as chicken or duck)
- Salt for seasoning
- Black pepper for seasoning
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 apples, diced
- Cotton twine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (optional)
Instructions:
1. Rinse the birds thoroughly under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
2. Season the birds with salt and black pepper inside and out.
3. Fill the cavities of the birds with the chopped onions and diced apples.
4. Tie the birds' legs with cotton twine to prevent the stuffing from spilling out during cooking.
5. Place the stuffed birds in a baking dish or pot and drizzle with olive oil if desired.
6. Roast the birds at 180°C (350°F) for about 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meat is cooked through and tender. You may cover the dish with foil during the first hour to keep the birds from drying out.
